Five dead, three injured in Ramechhap jeep accident

By Navaraj Shrestha, Ramechhap, Nov. 29: Five people have died while three others have sustained injuries in a jeep accident at Phurpu of Gokulganga Rural Municipality-6 in Ramechhap district.

According to chief district officer of Ramechhap, Raju Paudel, one of the three injured is in a serious condition and that the injured are under treatment at local hospital.

The jeep, with registration no. Na 1 Ja 7123, was heading to Rasnal of Gokulganga Rural Municipality-3 from Kathmandu.

DSP Pradip Kumar Singh, chief of the Ramechhap district police office, informed that the dead in the accident included ward chair of Gokulganga rural municipality-4, Ramchandra Basnet.
