Lumbini, Nov. 29 : Chief Minister of Lumbini Province Chet Narayan Acharya has said that the province government was making efforts to ensure public service delivery on visa, labour permit approval, health checkups and other jobs to regularly operate the Gautam Buddha International Airport (GBIA), Lumbini.
At an interaction programme on
'Sustainable Operation, Investment and Possibilities of Gautam Buddha International Airport' on Thursday, the Chief Minister of Lumbini Province said
that the international flight taking place from Lumbini has opened up
opportunities to the community here and urged the Federal Government to provide
rights to carry out the procedural jobs for visa issuance, labour permit
approval and others.
Saying that an enabling environment
for investment was created after the operation of Gautam Buddha International
Airport, Chief Minister Acharya asked the investors to make investments with
confidence.
Acharya also expressed his
readiness to amend laws if they were creating hindrances in investment.
Likewise, he said that the province
government would create a situation to arrange the trips for Lumbini Tourism
Circuit to the tourists coming to visit Lumbini.

Lumbini and other organizations, the event saw the participation of
entrepreneurs and the business community.
Speaking at the event, the business
persons said that the development of the tourism industry is likely in Lumbini
after the operation of international flights in Gautam Buddha International
