Kathmandu, Nov 14: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Urban Development, Prakash Man Singh, has said it was imperative to stress production sector so that gross domestic products (GDP) would make a progress.
Inaugurating the 'Fin Electro Tech-2024' organized by the electrical entrepreneurs' federation here Thursday, DPM Singh urged the private sectors to focus on production sectors.
"Investment in production is essential. Equal need is of clean energy which can be exported and earned money," he said, adding that unity and collaboration among all can create atmosphere for it.
The DPM viewed once the goods produced within country are prioritized, it would create a positive impact on national economy
According to him, government was at work to make economy dynamic and vibrant. The issues facing the commerce and private sectors would be addressed, he assured.
The event, to run till October 18, is expected to gather the entrepreneurs from the sectors ranging from electronics and electrics to IT and exchange ideas on innovation in technologies.(RSS)
