By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Oct. 15: Inspector (INS) of the Armed Police Force (APF) Dil Bahadur Baduwal, who was mobilized for disaster response and relief distribution work, has passed away.
According to the Co-Spokesperson of the Armed Police Force (APF) Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Shailendra Thapa, Baduwal died during treatment at the Nepal APF Hospital, Balambu.
Baduwal has been leading and working continuously for disaster management following establishing the Monsoon disaster management base at IT Park located at Panauti Municiplaity-2 in Kavrepalanchowk on September 18.
The deceased Baduwal suffered from a high fever and was admitted to APF Hospital for treatment but died on Monday morning in the course of treatment. He worked relentlessly in disaster-affected areas such as Roshi, Kalati Bhumidanda, Bethanchowk, Narke bazar, Mangaltar, Kaldhunga, and Walting.
Baduwal, who hails from Bardiya, joined the APF in 2060 as Assistant Sub Inspector – ASI.
He will be cremated with military honors at Pashupati Aryaghat on Tuesday evening.
