Professor Arun Gupto, authors Bindu Sharma and Phulman Bal, publisher Pushpa Raj Paudel and essayist Lama herself released the book amid a  presence of literary figures in the capital on Saturday.

Bindu Sharma traced the powerful lines by Lama while Phulman Bal analysed the book with the view of Tamang civilisation and aesthetics.

The book consists of 17 essays.

Majh Ghatta Ka Dui Thunga Phool (Two Bunches of Flowers of Majh Ghatta) is the wholesome narration of a trek to mesmerising Rara Lake while Darjyu Sanlap (The Vituous Message) and Khokekamitar Ek Banduli are issue-based essays on Tamang identity.

Other essays including Gharakhyan, Koligram Sambad, Drishya Aayam, Natanieko Shutter, Chiya Ko Glass, Ek Marga Chitra Agatko, Nyesangaka Dhunge Galliharu, Simbu Suwas, Sukanya Sanga Bachiraheki Kehi Parijat, Mansahat Ko Adim Bhok, Aago Bokera Manma, Hariyo Parda, Drishya Drishyansha, Bhui Kuhiro Ra Kanchhi Tamang Ko Eklo Yatra offer a critical comment on the present-day state affairs in depth.

Sukanya Waiba writes in the blurb of the book that Lama has followed the path of the great author Parijat while critic Rajkumar Baniya terms her writing as fictionalised nonfiction.

Published by Shikha Books, Darjyu Sanlap costs Rs. 525.

A teacher of English literature in Tribhuwan University, Lama earlier published two nonfiction books including Ujyalo Andhakar (The Bright Darkness) and Samakalin Nepali Akhyan Ma Tesro Lingi Chetana (The Third Gender Consciousness In The Contemporary Nepali Fiction).
