Bill designed to replace budget ordinance passed in Sudurpaschim Province

Sudurpaschim, Sept. 17: The Sudurpaschim Province Assembly has passed the bill designed to replace an Ordinance to Enable Immediate Revenue Collection, 2081 BS.     

In today's meeting of the Province Assembly, Economic Affairs Minister Bahadur Singh Thapa tabled the bill for its approval from the province assembly.     

The bill was approved after the province assembly members took part in the clause-wise discussions.     

Responding to the province assembly members' concerns, Economic Affairs Minister Thapa said the bill was introduced to end the situation of the budget vacuum even in the future.     

With the approval of the bill, the province government has obtained legal ways to run services by collecting revenue on a regular basis as per the law. (RSS)
