Model administrative building awaits inauguration in Sunsari

BY JAY KRISHNA YADAV,Inruwa, Sept. 5: The construction of the administrative building of Bhokraha Narsingh Rural Municipality in Sunsari district has been completed. Although the office started providing services from the newly constructed building, the formal inauguration is yet to take place. 

Dipendra Yadav, a resident of Bhokraha Narsingh Rural Municipality, informed that the administrative building, constructed at a cost of around Rs. 70 million was an exemplary building among the local levels in the district. Similarly, local representatives have claimed that the building constructed during the tenure of the former chairman of the local body, Mahendra Prasad Yadav, was the best administrative building in the district.

According to Bhokraha Narsingh Rural Municipality Chairman Ajmal Akkhar Azad, the building had set an example for other local levels in terms of physical infrastructure, facilities and quality of service. 

He said that the building featured advanced technology and architectural practices. The design of the building blends local identity with modernity, utilising innovative technologies while adhering to local traditions. 

During the construction of the building, all necessary infrastructures were included without compromising on quality. It has modern meeting rooms, offices, waiting areas and conference halls. Additionally, the building was constructed with environmentally friendly materials and energy-efficient systems, ensuring its sustainability. It also has disabled-friendly access. 

The new building has made it easy and convenient for citizens to receive services, with the use of advanced information technology. For the convenience of citizens coming to receive services, adequate seating arrangements have been made in the waiting area, along with provisions for clean drinking water and proper sanitation management.

Chairman Azad said that the building addressed the needs of the local level. He said that after the construction of the building, services had started from their own administrative building to provide quality services at the local level.

According to the Chief Administrative Officer Subarna Ghimire, transparency was maintained in all processes related to the construction of the building.
