Adhikari appointed senior expert at Ministry of Energy

By A Staff Reporter,Kathmandu, sept,1: Prabal Adhikari has been appointed as a senior energy expert in the Ministry of Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation.

The meeting of the Council of Ministers held on Thursday named Adhikari of Roshi Rural Municipality-9, Kavrepalanchowk as a senior energy expert.

Adhikari, who has obtained a Master's degree in electrical engineering, has been active in the development of Nepal's energy sector for almost three decades.

He retired as Deputy Managing Director of the Nepal Electricity Authority.

The newly appointed energy expert Adhikari, who is considered to be knowledgeable about energy trade, international power transmission and energy policy, has taken charge of the office at the ministry from Friday.
