Lama appointed Bagmati Province CM

By Ram Mani Dahal, Hetauda, July 23: Bahadur Singh Lama (Tamang) has been appointed as Chief Minister of the Bagmati Province. 

NC Bagmati Province Parliamentary Party leader Lama was appointed CM by the Province Chief Yadav Chandra Sharma on Tuesday.

Earlier today, Lama staked a claim for the Chief Minister of the province. 

The claim was submitted to the Province Chief Yadav Chandra Sharma on Tuesday with 37 signatures from NC and 27 signatures from UML lawmakers.

On Sunday, Province Chief Sharma called for the claim by Tuesday 5 PM after the then CM Shalikram Jamkattel resigned from the post.

According to the Office of the Province Chief, the newly appointed CM Lama will take the oath of Office and Secrecy on Wednesday at 11 AM.
