Mahottari, June 20: CPN (Unified Socialist) Chairman Madhav Kumar Nepal has said that his party was in the incumbent government to address public concerns and ensure the country's development.

At a news conference organized by the Socialist Press Organization at Bardibas in Mahottari on Thursday, the former Prime Minister said the present ruling alliance will continue and argued that the alliance was forged to meet certain objectives.

"Alliance with the government was forged with the objective to advance prosperity bid and fulfill people's needs. The alliance will not break due to our reasons," according to Chairman Nepal.

He, however, said intensive talks were missing among the ruling parties in the alliance and pointed out the need for consultations among the ruling parties.

Chairman Nepal suggested that Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' himself should take a lead role to maintain relations among the ruling parties. (RSS)
