Jaleshwor (Mahottari), Jan 10: The community schools in Mahottari district are closing for four to eight days with the increase in cold.
The local governments in the
district have decided to close the schools after cold wave, thick fog and
chilling condition started affecting life.
The Jaleshwor, Manarasiswa,
Bhangaha, Gaushala and Bardibas municipalities along with Pipara, Ekadara, Sonama
and Samsi rural municipalities have closed all schools in their area.
Chief of the District Education and
Coordination Unit Mahottari, Rajdev Yadav, said classes at schools have been
stopped in schools after the intense cold started affecting life.
According to him, the schools are
closed for four to eight days to be deducted from the summer holidays. (RSS)
