One injured in elephant attack

By Rabindra Upreti, Bardibas, Dec 28: One has received an injury from the attack of an elephant, who has been creating chaos, in a remote part of Bardibas for two months. The aggressor elephant has destroyed the building of the Division Forest office. 

A 36-year-old Munne Sheikh, who went to collect firewood in a nearby Ramnagar jungle, was attacked by an elephant. Seikh was returning home on Wednesday evening after collecting firewood when a pair of elephants coming from behind attacked him thereby injuring him. 

Area police office Gaushala, Mahottari, said that a serious injury was recorded in the thighs, stomach and other parts of the body of an injured Sheikh.
