Govt decides to provide dues of Rs 520 to million sugarcane farmers

Kathmandu, Dec 17: The government has decided to provide the sugarcane farmers the dues of Rs 520 million.

The Cabinet meeting today chaired by Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' decided to provide dues of sugarcane farmers immediately. 

In the meeting, Minister of Finance Dr Prakash Sharan Mahat, Minister of Agriculture and Livestock Development Bedu Ram Bhusal, and Minister of Industry, Commerce and Supplies Ramesh Rijal were present.
