Kathmandu, Oct 5: Vice President Ram Sahay Prasad Yadav expressed the confidence that the study of and listening to religious scriptures would help develop good conducts, characters and nature of individuals.
Launching the lyrical collection of Bhanubhakta Ramayana composed and sung by singer Lochan Bhattarai here on Thursday, he said listening to verses of the Ramayana will inspire individuals to honestly discharge one's duties.
"The Ramayana, Mahabharata and religious epics do not only contribute to the enhancement of language, literature and culture but also help people's sense of religion, spiritualism, socialization, morality and the notion of simple living high thinking", the Vice President said, adding the spiritual Ramayana has spectacular role to the enrichment of Nepali literature.
