19th Asian Games: Nepal enters semi-finals in PUBG

Kathmandu, Sept 29: Nepali team has entered the semi-finals of Player Unknown's Battlegrounds (PUBG) Mobile under the 19th Asian Games taking place in Hangzhou, China.     

In the quarterfinals match held at Hangzhou E-sports Centre on Friday, Nepal secured its position in semi-finals from its group.     

The Nepali team comprising Subin Kumar Prajapati, Dipesh Gurung, Sahas Bhandari, Samir Gurung and Sangeen Bhattarai secured second position from Group C in 54 minutes and 4.842 seconds.     

Hong Kong remaining on the top position from Group C has already made through the semifinals.     

Earlier in the first phase, Nepal claimed second position in its group but entered the semifinals becoming the best out of the teams, securing second position.     

Similarly, South Korea and Thailand from Group 'A', China and Chinese Taipei from Group 'B' and Japan and Indonesia from Group 'D' have made through semifinals from quarterfinals held today itself. (RSS)
