Kathmandu, Sept 28: The government has started its preparation to send workers to Israel through government process in the second phase.
Spokesperson of Minstry of Labour, Employment and Social Security, Danduraj Ghimire told RSS that preparation has gained momentum in sending assistant workers in response to the call for the same from Israel in the second phase.
He further informed Israel has shown interest to take 500 Nepalis as assistant workers.
Ghimire further shared the government has made necessary preparation to send Nepali workers in the second phase following Israel's interest.
According to the ministry, preparation was being made for the labour minister level visit to Israel to expedite the preparation.
In the first phase, a total of 1,175 workers were selected through lottery system for employment in Israel. Minimum remuneration of 1,543 US Dollars was designated for each Nepali worker in Israel as a caretaker. (RSS)
