'Jaymaya Afumatrai Likhapani Aipugi' drama to be staged in Damak

Jhapa, Sept 24: The Kadam Theatre of Damak Municipality-9 here has decided to stage a popular play 'Jayamaya Afumatrai Likhapani Aipugi' (Only Jayamaya arrived at Likhapani).    
    

The play is written by litterateur Indra Bahadur Rai. It is being staged on September 29.    
    
In the drama, litterateur Rai has depicted a living story of people from Nepali origin who had faced hard times in the military offensive in Burma during the World War II. It will be dramatized under the direction of cine artist Jivan Baral. A troupe of artistes would perform the drama.    
    
General Secretary of Kadam Theatre, Kaman Dewan, informed that rehearsal for staging drama was going on. For this to happen, even a basic workshop was organized in May early this year.    
    
Cine artist Baral informed that the drama would be performed in a riveting and living manner. Baral has been performing cine art for over two decades and also directed half dozen of performances.  (RSS)
