Kathmandu, Sept 12: The government has decided to perform the last rites of Chairperson of the Constituent Assembly, Subas Nemwang, with state honours.
During a cabinet meeting held at the office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers today, the government extended sorrow over the demise of leader Nemwang and expressed condolences to the bereaved family members.
The government took the decision to
give national honour in recognition of his contribution to the constitution-making
process, said Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Sudan
Kirati.
It also decided to give a public
holiday on the day the final rites of Chairperson Nemwang will be performed. CA
Chairperson Nembang died this morning due to a heart attack. (RSS)
