Nation loses a sober politician-Chairperson Regmi

Kathmandu, Sept 12: Chairperson of the then Council of Ministers, Khilraj Regmi said the country has lost a sober and balanced politician with the passing away of Constituent Assembly chairperson Subash Chandra Nemwang.    

He further said former Speaker Nemwang's coordinating capacity and his contributions to politics, law and constitutional bench will be ever-remembered.    

Former Chairperson Regmi said, "Nemwang had influence in the justice sector. He played a coordinating role in the political and constitutional systems of the country to promulgate the constitution".    

Regmi expressed deep sorrow and extended condolences to the grief-stricken family members.  (RSS)
