Vehicle charging station in Biratnagar ready for operation

By Our Correspondent,Biratnagar, Aug. 13: The vehicle charging station in Biratnagar will come into operation from mid-August. The charging station built in Biratnagar-11 bus park premises will be brought into operation after technical testing.

The station built by the Nepal Electricity Authority for electric vehicle charging is currently undergoing technical testing. After the technical test, it will be officially launched.

According to the agreement between the Chinese contractor company Wanbang Digital Energy Company and the Nepal Electricity Authority, 51 charging stations have been built across the country.

According to Shiva Adhikari, manager of the company’s representative in Nepal, out of the nine stations to be built in Koshi Province, the charging stations in Biratnagar and Itahari will be operational from mid-August.

According to Adhikari, two charging stations in Birtamode in Jhapa, two in Damak, one in Inaruwa in Sunsari and two in Udayapur have been brought into operation.
