Annual budget for FY 2023/24 passed, 147 vote in favour, 108 against

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, June 28: The House of Representatives (HoR) has endorsed the annual budget for the fiscal year 2023/24.

The Appropriation Bill got through the parliament as 147 HoR members voted for it while 108 voted against it.

A total of 255 HoR members out of 275 were present in the meeting today.

Following the voting over the Bill, Speaker Dev Raj Ghimire announced that the Appropriation Bill has been passed with majority of lawmakers in the HoR.
