By TRN Online, Kathmandu, May 24: 14 new cases (RT-PCR and antigen tests
combined) of COVID-19 have been confirmed on Wednesday while 14 people
recovered from the disease.
In 384 Real-Time Polymerase Chain Reaction
(RT-PCR) tests done in the past 24 hours, nine people were found infected with
SARS-CoV-2, informed the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) in its regular
update on Wednesday. Whereas, five positive cases were found in 470 Antigen
tests in the last 24 hours.
Currently, there are 53 active cases of
COVID-19 across the nation.
So far, 12,031 people have lost their lives
due to COVID-19 in Nepal.
