Literacy rate in Nepal up 10% in a decade

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Mar. 24: The literacy rate of Nepal has increased by 10.4 per cent in the last 10 years.

According to the National Census 2078 BS report by the Centre Bureau of Statistics on Friday, Nepal's literacy rate reached 76.3 per cent.

Before 10 years in 2068 BS country's literacy rate was 65.9 per cent.

Similarly, according to the new census report, more than 2,190,000 Nepali have been living abroad. This is higher by 269,098 than the precious census of 2068 BS.
