Bajhang Correspondent,Bajhang, Mar. 2: District Administration Office, Bajhang, has introduced a practice of singing national anthem before the employees begin their duty in the office.

On Wednesday, all the employees of the District Administration Office, Bajhang, gathered at the office yard and sang the national anthem at 10 am before they began working.

The provision of singing national anthem at 10 am has been introduced to make the employees accountable to their duties by being present at the office in time, said Chief District Officer Narayan Pandey.

He said, "With the introduction of the provision of singing national anthem before we begin our works, the sense of dedication to the nation, and the sense of belonging to the nation will be developed among the employees besides developing the habit of attending the office in time.”

He said that this practice would be continued and said that he was confident that it would help both the employees and service seekers to be disciplined.

On Wednesday, all the employees donned in office uniform with their ID cards hanging by their neck stood in a line and sang the national anthem,” said CDO Pandey.

In the past years, service seekers had to wait for hours to get citizenship card and passport work when the employees did not come to their office in time.

The service seekers have also been happy with the new practice of singing the national anthem before the office hours.

“It is one of the creative works of the government office,” said Jagadish Rokaya, a local.
