Weather to remain clean today

Kathmandu, Dec 27  : Today's weather has been predicted to be clean in the remaining geographical areas apart from the mountainous belt in the province-1.    

There would be partial to general changes in the weather condition in the province-1 as per the forecast.    

According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, the influence of westerly wind would trigger partial to general changes in the weather in the province. Some parts of the province would also witness snowfall due to the effects of westerly winds.    

However, other geographical regions would remain clean today. The same weather system would continue to exist in the night as well.    

Currently the southern plain areas of Sudurpaschim and Lumbini provinces are being covered with smog while remaining territories are with clean weather, the Department shared.    

According to the latest information provided by the weather forecasting division, today Kathmandu Valley would have a minimum temperature of 3.8 degree and maximum 18.5 degree Celsius.   

 
Likewise, today Jiri would witness the lowest temperature of -1.8 degree Celsius whereas Janakpur would have the highest 36.4 degree Celsius. (RSS)
