By A Staff Reporter,Kathmandu, Dec. 23: Foggy weather disrupted flights at Kathmandu’s Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) Thursday morning. According to the airport administration, some flights arriving to the airport landed as scheduled but most domestic and international flights supposed to have taken off from the airport in the morning got delayed due to poor visibility.

But, as the morning progressed, the weather cleared and flights resumed. According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, places across the country woke up to thick fog and smog on Thursday which dissipated in the late morning.  This is likely to be the case for the next 48 hours too, as per the Department’s fog forecast.
