LMC marks 104th establishment day with photo exhibition

BY A STAFF REPORTER,Kathmandu, Dec. 17: Lalitpur Metropolitan City (LMC) organised a photo exhibition on Friday to mark the 104th year of its establishment. Speaking at the exhibition, which was organised at the Patan Durbar Square, Mayor Chiri Babu Maharjan said that LMC was the oldest municipality of the nation and that the photos put up for display reflected the development of the city from then  to now, he said. 

The photos highlight Lalitpur’s festivals, religious and cultural activities and the activities carried out by the City Police to make the city “smart”. Manjali Shakya, deputy mayor of LMC, said that all citizens of the metropolis were civil police in their own right so, they needed to contribute towards city management too.
