By A Staff Reporter,Kathmandu, Dec. 16: Graphic Sanchar, a book written by artist Ashokman Singh, was unveiled amid a programme at Nepal Fine Arts Academy on Thursday.
Singh is an illustrator, Professor and artist. Speaking at the programme, writer Singh said that he planned to write the book 12 years ago, but he signed an agreement with the Academy only before the COVID-19 lockdown.
He said that he prepared the book based on art and graphic design history of Nepal and other countries, and his experiences and studies.
Speaking at the programme, artist Avin Shrestha said that writer Singh is one of the most arduous persons who has devoted his life in works, and a book written by such artist is useful for everyone interested in art, communication and graphic design.
KK Karmacharya, Chancellor of the Nepal Fine Arts Academy said that writer Singh is an active and workaholic person, and was an expert in writing in his young age. Karmacharya said that writer Singh is an expert of word design. The 332-page book is published by Nepal Academy of Fine Art and is priced at Rs. 500.
