By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Dec. 13: At least 18 people have been killed while 14 others injured when a bus met with an accident at Chalal Ganesh Sthan in Bethanchowk Rural Municipality-4 of Kavre.
14 injured have been taken to hospital for treatment.

Minister Bal Krishna Khand has instructed Kavre CDO Humkala Pande and district
police chief Chakra Raj Joshi to ensure immediate rescue of the injured and
their treatment.
CDO Pande said that 18 died when a reserved bus (Ba 3 Kha
4385) collided at about 6 pm this evening. The passengers of the bus were
returning from Chyalti ward no 5 of Bethanchowk to ward no. 11 of Banepa
municipality.
She said the exact number of the dead was yet to be officially
ascertained.
The police have said that the injured have been
undergoing treatment at Shir Memorial Hospital and Dhulikhel Hospital.
CDO Pande said the number of the passengers was also yet
to be ascertained and that Nepal Police and Nepali Army personnel were
conducting rescue operation even using dozer.
