UML's Rajendra Kumar Rai wins HoR seat from Dhankuta

By Kabi Raj Ghimire, Hile, Nov. 24: CPN (UML) candidate Rajendra Kumar Rai has been elected as a member of the House of Representatives (HoR) from Dhankuta district.

Rai was elected by defeating Nepali Congress's Sunil Bahadur Thapa by a margin of 1,387 votes.

Rai received 30,101 votes whereas his competitor Thapa gained 28,704 votes.
