UML’s candidate Nemwang and Basnet leading in two constituencies of Ilam

By Prem Adhikari, Pashupatinagar( Ilam), Nov. 22: Candidates from CPN (UML) Subash Chandra Nemwang and Mahesh Basnet are leading in two constituencies for the member of the House of Representatives (HoR) from Ilam.

Mahesh Basnet has garnered 6,646 votes on a total of 15,718 votes counted in constituency-1 Ilam. while his nearest revival Jhala Nath Khanal from CPN (Unified Socialist) has received 5,943 votes. A total of 59,906 votes were cast in constituency-1 Ilam.

Similarly, Subash Chandra Nemwang of CPN (UML) from Ilam constituency-2 has received 2,815 votes and is leading with 98 votes while Dambar Khadka from Nepali Congress has received 2,717 votes. 

A total of 69,085 votes were cast in constituency-2 Ilam.
