By Puskar Bhandari/ Gokarna Dayal,Dadeldhura/, Nov. 17: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba Wednesday addressed three election rallies in his home district Dadeldhura and one in Baitadi district.
Addressing an election rally at Bogata, Bhageshwara Rural Municipality-4, in Dadeldhura, Prime Minister Deuba said that the electoral alliance of the ruling parties was the necessity of the time.
Prime Minister Deuba, who is also president of the ruling Nepali Congress, argued that the ruling coalition was formed as the threat to the constitution increased. He pointed out the need for coalition going forward for a long time ahead to safeguard the constitution and ensure prosperity in the country.
“You all know it very well, KP Oli tried to violate the constitution, and that also for two times. We all expected political stability, development, and prosperity in the country after he formed the government. But, Oli did the opposite. Going against the constitution, which was achieved after much trouble, he dissolved the House of Representatives twice to bring instability in the country. Therefore, we formed this coalition and prevented him from violating the constitution. We have pushed forward many development projects. We want to keep the coalition for a long time and work for the development of the country,” said PM Deuba.
He also addressed the mass meetings organised at Dewal of Ajamjaymeru Rural Menicipality-5 and Sakayal of Ganyapdhura Rural Municipality-3. It was the second time that PM Deuba reached his home district to address the election rally. He is contesting election to the House of Representatives from Dadeldhura constituency.
Addressing the election rally held at Sullekhana of Tallosward area in Baitadi, PM Deuba said that they were contesting the election by forging alliance to safeguard the constitution and federalism. He also assured the Tallosworad locals that the government would build the Pancheshwar project.
He said, “Nepal can become rich by selling water and power. The West Seti Project has moved ahead by signing an agreement and the project will contribute to the development of the country.” He also recalled NC leader and first woman minister Dwarika Devi Thakurani, who was born in Tallosworad of Baitadi. “I am happy to be in the village of Dwarika Devi Thakurani,” he said.
