Raju Dhungel comes up with Maitighar

Kathmandu, Nov. 14: Artist and singer Raju Dhungel's song Maitighar based on original 'Panchebaja Bhaka' has hit the market.

Singer Raju Nepali has also lent his voice to the song. Born in Okhaldhunga, Dhungel composed the song based on the 'Panchebaja Bhaka' played in the eastern districts like Okhaldhunga, Khotang, Taplejurung, Bhojpur, Panchthar.

 Singer Dhungel said, "Maitighar song has preserved the originality of the local culture of eastern Nepal." The choreographer of the song is Yam Gurung and the model is Rina Thapamgar.

The message of this song is to protect Panchebaja, said Dhungel. 

Dhungel said that they were trying to preserve the song that is played when the bride is bade farewell to the groom's house.

Maitighar song was brought to the market by Limduni Creations.

Artist Dhungel has been in music for the past 24 years, since he was a four grader. 

His first album was released in 2057 BS and his first album was 

Purbeli Kanchho.  Akbari Sun and Jor Madal Bajyo  are his other albums.
