Japanese ambassador to Nepal Kikuta congratulates Nepal’s ambassador to Japan Dr. Subedi

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Nov. 7: Dr. Durga Bahadur Subedi, Ambassador of Nepal to Japan, presented the Letters of Credence to His Majesty The Emperor, at a special ceremony held at the Imperial Palace in Tokyo.

On this occasion, KIKUTA Yutaka, Ambassador of Japan to Nepal, expressed congratulations to Dr. Subedi.

Ambassador Kikuta also mentioned that Japan and Nepal have enjoyed a long history of friendly relationship, and he is glad that His Majesty The Emperor received the Credentials from a new Ambassador in the year 2022, which marks the 120th anniversary since the first eight Nepali students were dispatched to Japan for their studies, read a press release issued by the Japanese Embassy today.

The embassy stated that Ambassador Kikuta is looking forward to working with Dr. Subedi to further promote the bilateral relations and friendship between Japan and Nepal.
