By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Nov. 6: With 28 new cases (RT-PCR and antigen tests combined) of COVID-19 confirmed on Sunday, the nation's novel coronavirus tally has reached 1,000,734.
In 1,219 Real-Time Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) tests done in the past 24 hours, a total of 26 people were found infected with SARS-CoV-2, informed the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) in its regular update on Sunday.
Likewise, the virus infection was detected in two people in 660 antigen tests performed in the last 24 hours.
Currently, there are 570 active cases of COVID-19 across the nation.
Meanwhile, 18 COVID-19 patients receiving treatment in institutional isolation or staying in home isolation recovered from the infection in the last 24 hours.
Nepal has now recorded 988,145 cases of recovery, and the recovery rate is at 98.7 per cent.
No fatalities related to COVID-19 were recorded in the last 24 hours, according to the MoHP. So far, Nepal's COVID-19 death toll has reached 12,019.
