By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Oct. 22: A total of 43 new cases (RT-PCR and antigen tests combined) of COVID-19 were confirmed on Saturday while 48 people recovered from COVID-19.
In 435 Real-Time Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) tests done in the past 24 hours, a total of 43 people were found infected with SARS-CoV-2, informed the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) in its regular update on Saturday.
Likewise, no virus infection was detected in 363 antigen tests performed in the last 24 hours.
Currently, there are 716 active cases of COVID-19 across the nation.
So far, Nepal's COVID-19 death toll has reached 12,018.
