By Chhetu Sherpa, Kathmandu, Oct. 13: After a week, flights have been resumed in Lukla airport since Thursday.
With the fine weather, Sita Air from Kathmandu, and Summit and Tara Air from Manthali of Ramechhap have started flights to Lukla.

According to Mountain Guide Gelje Sherpa due to bad weather, more than 300 tourists were stranded at the Manthali airport for a week.
He informed that Summit Air and Tara Air have started flights to Lukla on Thursday morning.
During the main tourism season Lukla airport witnesses more than 25 flights in a day.
A spokesperson at Tara Air Sudarshan Bartaula said that Tara Air, Summit Air and Sita Air have prepared to operate more than 20 flights to the airport on Thursday.
