44 new cases, 29 recoveries in last 24 hours

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Oct.11: A total of 44 persons have been found infected with the novel coronavirus in the last 24 hours across the country.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), 35 persons tested positive for the virus in the RT-PCR test of 579 persons while nine tested positive in the antigen test of 1,643.

Meanwhile, 29 persons got over the virus infection in the same period.

There are 575 active cases of COVID-19 in the country to date, according to MoHP.
