RPP Chair Lingden registers candidacy nomination from Jhapa 3

Jhapa, Oct 9: Chairperson of the Rashtriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) Rajendra Lingden today registered his candidacy for the November 20 House of Representatives election from Jhapa constituency 3.     

He got his nomination papers registered through the office of the chief returning officer at Chandragadhi, Jhapa, said the chief returning officer and district judge Chandra Mani Gyawali.     

His candidacy was proposed by RPP student leader Madhav Pokharel, and seconded by the CPN (UML) leader Laxman Pathak.     

The RPP has forged an electoral alliance with the UML in the Jhapa district. Along with him, Basanta Baniya (constituency 'A') and Chhabi Lal Chudal (constituency 'B') from the UML registered their candidacy nomination under the Province Assembly poll.     

Of the total 662,311 eligible voters in the district, constituency 3 has 131,432 voters, according to the election office, Jhapa. (RSS)
