Heavy rain likely in few places of Lumbini, Gandaki on day of Dashain

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Oct. 4: A very heavy rain has been predicted in a few places of Lumbini and Gandaki Provinces while heavy rain is forecast in one or two places of Province 1 and Bagmati province on the day of Dashain, tomorrow, Wednesday.

In other provinces, a light and medium rain with thunder and lightning has been forecast.

According to the weather forecast bulletin of the Meteorological Forecasting Division under the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, the Axis of the Monsoon Trough is located currently in the north from its usual place causing a cloudy weather across the country.

In Province 1, Madhes and Bagmati provinces, the weather is cloudy while in some places of the other provinces light rain is occurring today.

The weather will remain partially and totally cloudy across the country on Thursday, according to the bulletin.
