Second phase vaccination for children aged 5-12 from Aug 21

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Aug. 13: The government is launching the second phase vaccination campaign for children aged between 5 to 12 years in the remaining 50 districts of the country from August 21.

According to Dr. Samir Kumar Adhikari, spokesperson for the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), the first dose against COVID-19 under the second phase vaccination campaign to children aged between 5 and 12 years will be administered from August 21 to 27 and the second dose campaign will run from September 12-17.

The vaccination campaign will run in Bhojpur, Dhankuta, Khotang, Okhaldhunga, Panchthar, Sankhuwasabha, Solukhumbu, Taplejung Tehrathum, Udayapur,  Bara, Rauthat, Sarlahi, Ramechhap, Dolakha, Dhading, Nuwakot, Rasuwa, Sindhupalchowk, Baglung, Gorkha, Lamjung, Manang, Mustang, Myagdi, Parbat, Syangja, Tanahun, Kapilvastu, Arghakhanchi, Gulmi, Palpa, Pyuthan, Rolpa, Rukum (East), , Rukum (West), Salyan, Dolpa, Humla, Jumla, Kalikot, Mugu, Dailekh, Jajarkot, Accham, Doti, Bajhang, Bajura, Baitadi and Darchula.
