By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Aug 10: The fire that broke out at a shoe factory located at Balaju bypass, Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC)-16, has been brought under control. The fire had broken out this afternoon in the One World Shoe Factory.
The Metropolitan Police Circle, Balaju said that the
detailed description of the loss incurred due to the fire is yet to be determined.
Bal Krishna Khand, Minister for Home Affairs, took the information from the concerned agencies about the fire breakout and the losses incurred and directed the concerned agencies to ask for assistance from higher authorities if needed to bring the fire under control.

Home Minister Khand had directed Rabindra Bahadur
Dhanuk, AIGP of the Valley Police Office, Gobinda Rijal, Chief District Officer
(CDO) of Kathmandu district, and security chiefs of the valley to bring the fire under
control at the earliest.
AIGP said that Minister Khand had directed to use of additional assistance and manpower if needed to control the raging flames.
CDO Rijal said that the fire that breakout has been brought under control.
