Kathmandu, Aug 9 : The British Red Cross has provided
sanitary materials to the Nepal Red Cross Society for use in emergency
periods.
Chief of British Red Cross in
Nepal, Kriti Ray, handed over the materials to Executive Director of Nepal Red
Cross, Umesh Prasad Dhakal on Monday.
The materials could be used for the
cleanliness of needy people during emergencies. "Collective efforts are
imperative to disaster response and preparedness. British Red Cross has been
continuously assisting Nepal Red Cross in building community-level disaster
resilience," she shared.
Similarly, Executive Director
Dhakal expressed thanks to Ray for the continued assistance. He informed us that the sanitary materials would be sent to the people in the disaster-hit
