cases have been spreading in the Gulmi district recently.
Pashupati Acharya, Chief of the District Health
Office, said that five cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed today in the district.
A total of five people have tested positive for the
virus out of the total 15 antigen tests performed today.
There are a
total of 18 active cases of COVID-19 in the district. With this, the district health office
has requested locals to strictly follow the health safety standards.
District health office Chief Acharya has directed all the 12 local levels to conduct antigen tests in people suffering from fever and cold.
So far, 288 people have lost their lives because of
COVID-19 in the district.
