By A Staff Reporter Kathmandu, June 17: The film submission application for the sixth edition of Nepal International Film Festival (NIFF) has been open since June 15.
Informing all the filmmakers from all over the world through a press statement issued on Wednesday, organiser Nepal Film and Cultural Foundation has urged filmmakers to apply their films for the festival.
Applications can be submitted in seven different genres of national and international feature films, short films, documentaries and short animated films to NIFF, informed the organiser in its statement.
Applications for short films, documentaries and feature films can be applied under the national competition.
There is a charge for international competition and national filmmakers can apply freely in the festival, informed the organiser.
All national and international applications can be filed through online platform www.filmfreeway.com/niff2023, informed the organiser.
Interested filmmakers from home and abroad can apply for their participation in the festival by December 25.
The 6th edition of NIFF 2023 will be held in Kathmandu from March 16 to 20 next year. The criteria for the festival includes the length of feature film should be 60 to 120 minutes, short film less than 30 minutes and documentary less than
60 minutes.
