By Ramesh Paudel, Pokhara May 30:  The bodies of 20 people have been recovered from the crash site of Tara Air in Sansure, Thashang Rural Municipality-2 of Mustang district. 

Baburam Shrestha, a major general of the Nepali Army who has been leading the search and rescue operation, informed about the recovery of the bodies.

Efforts are underway to recover the bodies of two persons, of a total of 22 people including 3 crew members on board the ill-fated aircraft, from the wreckage of the plane. 

Preparations are being made to bring the bodies to the Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu, and take them to the Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital for the postmortem.

However, till the moment of writing this, the bodies have not been brought to Pokhara.

It has been said that some of the bodies are in an unrecognizable condition and need to conduct DNA testing for ascertaining their identity.
