Kathmandu, April 30 (RSS): Flights at the Tribhuvan International
Airport (TIA) have been affected today due to bad weather.
Bad weather weakened the
visibility, making it difficult for the aircraft to land flights at TIA.
Flights were slightly affected in other airports besides TIA.
Flights were hugely affected in the
eastern part of the country due to heavy rainfall. According to Buddha Air's
information officer Dipendra Kumar Karna, Buddha Air's Tumlingtar flight has
been cancelled while Biratnagar Airport is recently open for flights.
Yeti Airlines' spokesperson
Sudarshan Bartaula shared that flights were affected in various airports across
the country including Kathmandu. "Adverse weather caused problems in
flight in various airports but now it is getting better. There were only IFR
flights during the rainfall," he said.
