Chairman Prachanda urges cadres to adhere to alliance spirit

Kathmandu, April 28 (RSS): Chairperson of the CPN (Maoist Centre) Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' has urged the leaders and cadres to adhere to the spirit of the alliance and act accordingly so that the candidates from the five-party alliance could secure victory.

Chairperson Prachanda said it while directing the candidates for chair/mayor and vice-chair/deputy mayor posts on behalf of the alliance at Madhyapurthimi Municipality on Thursday. Also, the former Prime Minister was of the view that the cadres and leaders of the political parties in the alliance must enforce the alliance's direction.

The former Prime Minister held a discussion with mayor candidate Surendra Shrestha and deputy mayor candidate Bijay Krishna Shrestha.

The Chairperson believed that the people would vote for the alliance candidates for the protection of democracy and the constitution. He further argued that the local level election would defeat the regressive and status quoists.
