Karnali PSC comes into effect

Karnali, April 24 : The Karnali Provincial Public Service Commission Surkhet has conducted examination for vacant government positions in the province. This is the first time that such an examination has taken place at the province-level after the implementation of federalism structure in the country.    
The Karnali PPSC on Saturday conducted the examination for the post of women development inspectors under various services.    
According to the Section 3 of the Provincial Public Service Commission Act, 2075 BS, vacancies were announced for the position of eight employees in the open category and one in inclusion category. A total of 2,197 candidates appeared for the examinations on Saturday, said Secretary of the commission Bhupendra Thapa.    
Chairperson of the Commission Ram Prasad Upadhyaya said it was a proud moment for the Commission to conduct the examination for the first time in the history of federalism in the country.
