Ruling parties are expected to give a final form to their agreement on
electoral coordination among them at the local level election.
According to government spokesperson
and Minister for Communications and Information Technology Gyanendra Bahadur
Karki, today's meeting of the ruling parties dwelt seriously on the electoral coordination
among them and that they also reached a conclusion on some issues.
"So far as coordination among
the ruling parties in relation to the local level election is concerned, there
has been a serious discussion on it today. Agreement has been reached on some
issues. A meeting called for 11 am tomorrow, Tuesday, morning will give a final
shape to it," said Minister Karki after the meeting of the ruling parties
at the Prime Minister's official residence today.
The discussion was revolved around
the bases of coordination as set by the ruling coalition and that the meeting
dwelt on overall issues including coordination in the metropolis and
sub-metropolis, said Minister Karki.
Prime
Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, also Nepali Congress president, CPN (Maoist
Center) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' and chiefs of the other ruling
parties were present in the meeting.
